I sailed hove for most of the afternoon. Started on a 4.5m which is a peach and switched to a 5m later as the wind was pretty light against the killer rip. Not quite enough wind on the inside to be ideal. I was still planing most of the time, but everything felt a bit heavy later. Waves were very good, but not as long down the line as it can offer up. More sections seemed to be closing out over a longer length. Timing I guess. Great fun but that place can draw you downwind like no other chasing peaks. Saw some nice lines on a super smooth wave face from jonl, caught a few myself.
